In Bakersfield, the historic Dust Bowl Camp – the setting that inspired The Grapes of Wrath – will become the first state park dedicated to the history of Great Depression-era migrant farming.
The state also aims to expand its current park boundaries by 30,000 acres by 2030, maintaining the largest state park system in the nation. While planning your next outdoor adventure, you might look for AUS airport parking to save on travel costs.
